How this website works

• It sets no advertising or tracking cookies. If you choose a language, a cookie remembers that choice. Signing in to the member portal sets a session cookie for that purpose only.
• It counts page views as totals: which page, on which day, and broadly where the visit came from (a search engine, a social network, a campaign link). No record is kept of any one visitor, and a browser’s “do not track” or “global privacy control” signal switches the counting off for that visitor.
• What you type into a form goes to the LSGDMO team responsible for it (membership, events, volunteering, partnerships, finance or member services) and is kept there, not on this website.
• It never asks for a card number. Card payments, where offered, are made on the payment provider’s own page.
• Names and photographs of people appear only with a recorded decision: an office holder’s approved public profile, a member’s own choice to be listed, a donor’s own choice to be named, or consent recorded for a story or picture.
• It loads no third-party scripts, fonts or trackers.
